Sarah has worked in human services for over 15 years, working with children and teenagers with complex trauma.  Supporting children who have experienced complex trauma has been Sarah's passion and the primary focus of her work.  Currently, Sarah is excited to be putting her skills to great use with teenagers and adults in the Acute Mental Health unit at the Launceston General Hospital. In her private rooms Sarah is working with:

  • children that receive NDIS funding

  • teens that are needing some extra assistance to deal with added pressures of teen life

  • customised small group healing workshops

  • individual therapeutic sessions with adults

Sarah was drawn to art therapy through her own personal healing journey.  She was inspired by its ability to process complex trauma in an empowering manner.  "It is a very intuitive process, it trusts in the body and you don't need any art experience."
